Booking the Hotels - July 2015

Lots of research going on here

On Monday July 27, Lisa flew down to Dallas for the 6th planning session.  This  session involved researching and booking the hotels for the trip.  After 3 days of intense research, 4 bottles of wine and some relaxing in the pool, we booked some fabulous hotels in some amazing places.  Everyone is very happy with the results and now we can't wait for October to get here.

Bill and Debbie decided to visit St. Louis over the 4th of July weekend to celebrate Fran's birthday.  They arrived in St. Louis on Thursday, July 2 and Tom and Lisa had a barbecue on Friday, July 3.

On Sunday, July 5 we managed to squeeze in a couple hours of trip planning after Bill and Tom went clay bird shooting and before Bill and Debbie had to leave for the airport.  Day end destinations were finalized in preparation for Lisa's trip to Dallas to book the hotels.  Tom was given the assignment to decide our wine stops in the Rhone Valley so we could pinpoint our stays in that area.  He has 3 weeks to do this before the hotel booking trip.  Is he up to the task?  We shall see.
