Our first stop was Monaco. The yachts and harbor were as fabulous as the travel guides said they would be. This is definitely where the "beautiful people" live.

We left the hubbub of the city to visit the medieval town of Eze which is built on a mountain outcropping. The scenery and views were breathtaking. We decided to celebrate Tom and Lisa's 43rd wedding anniversary at a 5 star Restaurant, Chateau Eza. We enjoyed a multi-course meal of local Provencal cuisine which included foie gras, red pepper mousse on toast, parmesan cheese pops, carrot soup, sea bass, and blueberry torte with chocolate mousse. It was a culinary extravaganza.
From Eze we descended down to Ville Franche Sur Mare to follow the coast road to Antibes and Cannes. The "beautiful people" really know how to live.We headed back inland into Provence and ended the day at Mercure Brignoles Golf de Barbaroux. We had such a big lunch we stopped at a grocery store and bought some cheese, crackers and wine. Then went to our room and snacked while blogging. C'est la vie!

Happy Anniversary!! Love you guys. Trip looks amazing
